Over sixty years of cable manufacturing, exporting yearly to over 60 countries worldwide and known as the preferred partner for all cabling needs. That is Helkama Bica.
Our story
Helkama Bica is part of the Helkama Emotor Group, a family-owned group of industrial companies based in Finland. The Group consists of a parent company, three subsidiaries and two associated companies, with a yearly turnover of nearly 380 MEUR.
The roots of the family-owned Helkama companies go back to the year 1905, and they have successfully kept abreast of the times making each of them rank among the leading companies of their kind. Over the years, Helkama has expanded its operations both domestically and internationally.

Helkama designs and manufactures different types of cables for Marine, Telecom, Industrial, Flexible, Offshore (SHF2), Optical fiber, Instrumentation and Fire-resistant applications.
Our three production facilities are located in Kaarina and Hanko in Finland, and in Shanghai, China. We have over 270 essential employees.
We’re the lead for your project
With decades of experience under our belt, we have chosen to be more customer driven. In addition to customer service, to us service means providing customer specific service solutions such as custom cutting and labelling services, and offering customized products. Each project has a unique combination of cable requirements, and our range and expertise can cover them all.
